Homework Page

Homework will be assigned regularly and you will be expected to check this page daily. I will often send out wiki mail announcements to let you know that the homework which I announced in class has been posted, but do not rely on those wiki emails as reminders for your work because I cannot guarantee that I will send messages every time work is posted.

Homework assignments will be graded according to two scales. For smaller assignments, I use the √+, √, √- system, which correspond to grades A, B, and C, just of a smaller value. Larger assignments will be graded with letter grades from A range to C range. All incomplete homework will be given a grade a I and returned to you for completion.

Students who have incomplete work lasting over more than one additional class session will be sent to study hall to complete the work. Late assignments result in the lowering of a grade unless a prior arrangement for illness or other reason has been made with me.

PLEASE NOTE: WEEKLY PARASHAT HASHAVU'AH ASSIGNMENTS WILL NOT APPEAR IN THE ASSIGNMENT TABLE BELOW. HOWEVER, THEY WILL BE POSTED EVERY WEEK ON MONDAY OR TUESDAY TO BE COMPLETED BY FRIDAY. THE TOP LINE OF THE HOMEWORK TABLE IS THE ONE AND ONLY POSTING I WILL MAKE FOR THIS SUBJECT.

If you wish to email me homework assignments, please do so to my rabbibellas@students.talmudtorah.com account. Emailed assignments sent anywhere else will not be checked because I do not check any other email addresses.
